Interstate Commerce Financial Credit Corp. (ICFC), is a California corporation serving the transportation industry, banks, insurance agents, manufacturers, U.S. custom brokers and brokers approved by the Department of Defense. It is recognized by the U. S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. ICFC issues trust funds (or evidence of security) to prospective applicant broker’s pursuant to Title 49 Section §13906, §387.307 and §387.203 (2) effective January 6, 1983. Title 49 requires that the property broker have a surety bond or trust fund in effect for $10,000 and a process agent BOC3 or the F.M.C.S.A. will not issue a license.
ICFC was developed by a group of freight claim specialists committed to professionalism and dedicated to “service with vision” both domestically and internationally using the Commission’s prescribed Form BMC-85 Property Broker’s Trust Fund Agreement.
